Wendy Burks is the wife of Benjamin Burks, the International Director of RU Recovery Ministries. They have been married since 1990 and have three children: Joshua, Caleb, and Hannah.

Wendy has authored five books and teaches a Ladies’ Bible Study at North Love Baptist Bible College, works as a secretary at RU Recovery Ministries, leads a small challenge group every Friday at their local Reformers Unanimous chapter, speaks at various women’s conferences, teaches Junior High Sunday School, as well as travels often with her husband as he preaches across the country. However, Wendy will tell you that her most challenging and rewarding responsibility is her #1 job – being a wife to her husband and a mom to her children.

Wendy has a sincere burden for other women, both young and old. She sees the lies that Satan brings to the hearts of all women, keeping them in bondage. She shares the heart of Jeremiah when he said in Lamentations 3:51, “Mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city.” It is her desire to help other women find and share the true joy of discovering a real, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
